The Mercury mining museum of Monte Amiata is situated in Piazza Garibaldi in Santa Fiora; it was brought to life to testify the history of the mines and the sacrifices of the miners' tasks.

The museum journey, with historical documentation, tries to bring to life, the work and working conditions, old as well as modern, the social organisation and the development of the mines on Monte Amiata, it also illustrates the hard work and risks involved in this field.
